Toyota Forest - supporting the UNEP's Billion Tree Campaign
Around the world Toyota helps the environment through a number of forest development and regeneration schemes. In Europe, Toyota is actively engaged in tree planting activities in more than ten countries. Through our commitment to these projects we recognise the importance of forests to biodiversity, carbon absorption and our quality of life.
Toyota provides both financial support and practical assistance with forest planting and conservation. The type of assistance varies depending on the local need. We have helped with desertification prevention, reforestation after a fire or other natural disaster and conservation of existing forests.
Results
Toyota Europe has already helped plant some 350.000 trees and invested over €350,000 in tree planting activities
