Reuse to Win
The Reuse to Win competition focussed on developing recycling habits for primary school children aged between six and ten years of age. Through a national competition children were invited to create a car out of recycled materials such as plastic bottles, cans and newspaper. The entries were then displayed in local Toyota retailers where the entries were judged and prizes were awarded.
Individual students were recognised with prizes such as t-shirts, caps and puzzles. The winning schools were also recognised with practical teaching aids such as digital cameras, PCs and digital encyclopaedias.

Results
More than 6,000 students in 120 schools became involved in the project and 200 entries were completed and entered into the competition. Participating schools received around €25,000 of didactic teaching equipment.
