
The main aim of the project is to spread the environmental values through the community and use the local strength of Toyota Retailers as a driver to achieve a local and national Impact. The Toyota Retailers Network and TES were supported by the Spanish Environmental Ministry, the Fundación Biodiversidad (Biodiversity Foundation), the Fundación Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente, and more than 50 local collaborators including public institutions, NGOs and private companies.
The day was a great success, with a higher level of public awareness and a big increase in participation by individuals. A number of new partners learnt about the project during publicity leading up to the day, and many contacted TES spontaneously to provide volunteers or participate at the different sites.
A special website has been established (www.habiaunavezunbosque.com) where attendees can upload their pictures from the day. Images uploaded before 22 December will be entered into a special photographic competition.
