Cyclists, runners, TMMP staff and the residents of Wałbrzych took part in the opening celebrations, enjoying a family picnic at the site. The picnickers also had the opportunity to try the new trail for themselves, including the renovated rest area which is now equipped with shelters, tables, benches, bike racks, and information boards containing a map and details of the trial. Bikers also took part in environmental and cycling competitions on the new trail.

The Ptasia Kopa Hill trail was renovated by around 20 TMMP staff members during July and August. During the renovations, volunteers undertook ground works along the route, installed benches and tables, and planted trees. Thanks to their efforts, the trail is now open for use by all members of the local community.
