Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey (TMMT) has started a Traffic Safety School which aims to explain basic traffic rules to Grade 3 students. During the class, the 8- to 9-year old students, watch a movie on traffic safety and undertake practical training using toy traffic lights and car costumes. At the end of the training, each student receives a certificate of completion.
The first Traffic Safety School was held on 21 December 2010 and was attended by the President and CEO of Toyota Turkey – Mr Özer, the Deputy Governor, Chief of Police, National Education Director and other local authorities. TMMT plans to train over 400 students in the coming year.
