Toyota Motor Hungary tree planting

Because of the neighbouring motorway reconstruction, approximately 1 500m2 land from TMH area was appropriated. The money that was received by the Government for the purchase of the land, was spent to reconstruct the garden surrounding TMH.

TMH planted 172 trees and 150 shrubs around the headquarters which can absorb 40 ton dust and 7, 5 ton CO2 per year.

The opportunity was taken to also upgrade the old sprinkling system.

The works were all done by a locally contracted company.

The overall purpose of the activity was to:

• Decrease TMH Environmental footprint
• Eliminate noise & dust pollution generated by the newly renovated neighbouring motorway
• Creating a more (visually)friendly environment
