Toyota Motor Hungary (TMH) participated in European Mobility Week (16 to 22 September 2009) with a number of activities in Budapest. The events aimed to motivate citizens to reduce their fuel consumption and to publicise Toyota’s hybrid technology and the company’s environmental philosophy.

As part of Mobility Week, TMH took part in a conference on Green Mobility at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. TMH also established a display on Budapest’s Andrássy Street where people could test drive a new Toyota Prius and learn about Toyota’s environmental programme. The mayor of Budapest and local politicians took part in this event. Copies of Toyota’s Environment brochure and CD were distributed to participants. More than 100,000 people were reached by these activities.
