Save a Child’s Heart

Union Motors, Toyota’s national marketing company in Israel, has funded a new sonogram to assist the international Save a Child’s Heart programme. Save a Child’s Heart provides life saving cardiac surgery for children in developing countries such as China, Ethiopia, Iraq, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority and Russia.

The new sonogram will be based at the Wolfson Hospital in Israel and will be used to treat children from around the world. The new equipment will enable Save a Child’s Heart to increase the number of children they can help.

Save a Child’s Heart is an international humanitarian organisation founded in 1992 and based in Israel. Since its establishment Save a Child’s Heart has repaired the hearts of nearly 2,000 children. In addition to providing surgery, Save a Child’s Heart sends medical professionals to developing countries on teaching missions where they help to train local doctors. Save a Child's Heart also provides longer term training for medical professionals at the Wolfson Hospital.
